Papaya Kuir is an intersectional feminist Collective for & by Trans and Lesbian Queer Latinx Asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in the Netherlands. Musicians, performers and artists. They chose a name that re-introduce the use of the word papaya (slang for female genital tract in several Latin American countries) and Kuir, which is a corruption of the word queer, a nickname with a twist.
